I recently attended the wedding of my brother and his beautiful bride, and I just knew I had to do something special to commemorate the love they share. I blended multiple still images from the video of their first dance, as well as capturing elements from throughout their wedding such as using photos from the ceremony that showed off her veil to make sure that was included, the bouquets of flowers from the bridesmaids, the dangling drapes and mystical fairy lights from the reception and I created this stunning scene. Freezing this moment of hope, love and that new marital bliss into a portrait they can truly cherish forever.

Half-Baked!
So it's been a very special time for my Husbands side of the family these past 9 months with his baby sister expecting her first child! This precious bundle of joy will not only be her first child, but also the first grandchild on that side as well!
My Husband wanted to do something special to commemorate the love his sister and brother-in-law share, before their life changes and the new one arrives, so he commissioned this portrait for their Christmas present! The Aztec Purr-incess
Meet Doralee, named after Dolly Partons character in 9 to 5. This adorable little (and i mean, physically little!) was an adoption cat and her owner was told she was an Aztec Princess in a past life. When this piece was commissioned, it was requested there be a Pyramid of the Sun in the background and maybe a light golden shadow behind her.
Based on the knowledge that she was an Aztec Princess, I researched some of the traditional Aztec designs and what the Aztec Princesses would wear and came up with this idea

Paws-itive Affirmations
Someone once said you can speak things into existence and I think this little doggy may have the same idea... In my house, little Paz truly does believe he is the highest authority, so when my Catholic husband requested a paw-trait for his birthday, it had to be one that fits how Paz views himself!

Peace and Paws-itivity
Meet Nova, the sweetest little old lady I've ever met. She radiates peace and tranquility - Something that is very much needed in a house with three boys! Even on my first time meeting her, she waltzed up to me for some fuss with zero hesitation.
When this piece was comissioned, I was asked to style her like Gahndi, to represent her peaceful personality and because of this we decided to keep the background quite basic, Just having Nova resting her paws on a little table in front of her. We also decided to stick with the more traditional, plain robes as the more extravegant ones didn't feel right for her.
